As far as boots go, the Greenwich is pretty strapping. Built by the Massachusetts-based cobbler Alden exclusively for Leffot, a stylish downtown men’s shoe store, the boot’s upper is fashioned from oiled nubuck and its flexible soles are completely waterproof. Although inspired by the “spirit of Greenwich Village hipsters and bohemians,” they cost a decidedly unbohemian $475 a pair.
